Hello From the Other Side!

Long time, no see!!! I'm so happy to get back into the spirit of blogging again, hopefully :'}.....
And YES for your information, I AM still riding horses! In fact, I just got my very own horse! Her name is "Liddy", and she is very sweet!
She was trained "Western", and I ride "English" so, we are training her to keep her head held up high. She also has a small, but hard to fix, "problem" with coming off the rail ("Rail" meaning the wooden railing around the arena.), That we must fix.
And there's your "Blog of the Day" folks! Have a nice evening, sincerely, your "Famous, Spectacular, Amazing".....(wait for it)..... oddball!

Here is a little story I wrote awhile ago... Hope y'all like it!

                                                                   Windows
Windows— When I look at them— At least, I think when I look at them, I travel to a unfamiliar world— Always different… I looked to find “The Window of the Day” without looking directly into any of them. There was one window that drew me in. This window was dark and stormy. It haunted me. All of the other windows were cherry and happy and sunny. I looked in. I focused my eyes again to find a quaint little village with Roses, Poses, and Pansies. I couldn’t help but wonder why the window was so, well— Haunting to me, was I just imagining the window being different from the others or— Then I saw it— A dragon. The dragon seemed to be hustling them into— Well, its hard to explain— Boxes.
Wooden triangular boxes. The boxes had locks on them and it looked like they were— Somehow— Someway— Portals. The dragon was neon green and and orange, and had more of a settle, but not ordinary, purple. The dragon was breathing flames too. I could feel the fires heat on my now pale face. I never, ever, ever,  got scared, but now, just by looking into that one innocent window, I was. I walked forward a few steps to try and get a closer look at this crude beast but the also pale faced munchkins were running to and fro making it unable to see through all of the chaos. Once I could get a decent, and closer look at the dragon, he vanished out of my limited sight then I felt the the same heat on the back of my neck that I had felt only a minute ago, “looks like he wanted to get a closer look at me too” I mumbled under my breath, terrified. As quick as light he snatched me up by my collar and threw me into a box. The sparks from the swirling portal stung as I was knocked against one of the three sides of the box, like a thousand bees stinging me in the blazing summer heat. When I heard the creature lock the box tight, I knew I had to jump into the mysterious, sparking portal.
I have no name but most people and friends call me Queer, Queer Lilly, unlike the people at my orphanage, they call me, simply, “Girl”. “Girl” is a very horrid, and unruly name here in my galaxy. I often wonder what else is out there, out of the orphanage walls, out of the village, out of this huge galaxy. I sometimes wonder if there is another “me”, another me that actually has parents, another “me” that, isn’t so, sad, another “me” that isn’t such a “unruly girl”. All I know is that  there has to be more life out there and that my life sucks.
